SUITABILITY STRESSED MR. NIELSON IN SYDNEY Press Association —Copyright. Sydney, Today. The secretary of the New Zealand Aero Club, Mr. S. E, Nielson, arrived by the Monterey today. He said: “Our scheme is to get Smithy' to make this flight for the purpose of getting New Plymouth established as an official airport. From a geographical position New Plymouth is the nearest landing ground to Australia and a good distributing centre for mails and passengers. “It is also intended to get Smithy’s opinion on the proposed new air transport company t 0 provide a national service from Auckland to Dun, edin, which will also embrace New Plymouth, Wellington and Christ, church.”
