Owners had continued nominating and racing horses in a manner that was a tribute to their enthusiasm.

During the year £25,217 were paid to the Government in taxation. Mr. Riddiford was re-elected president, and Mr J. W. Abott vice-pre-sident.

A memorandum was released re the proposed amendments of the Gaming Act as issued to Wellington members of Parliament.
