"CAPTIVATION" Betty Stockfield as the pampered, sophisticated society darting _ in British Dominions' new release, "Captivation," at the King's Theatre, once again proves that it is extremely dangerous to speculate on anything much outside of Phar Lap these clays, especially with regard to beautiful women. _,. So divinely alluring was Miss Stockfield in "City of Song," the British operetta that was so sensationally received, that critics were moved to comment that nothing or nobody could excel her. But Betty herself gives the lie to that contention by appearing more ravishing and glamorous than ever in "Captivation in which incidentally, Conway 1 carle and Frederick Volpe, the merry admiral of "The Middle Watch," also appear. -
