Nottinghamshire; Worcestershire in the first innings made 210 (Walter 115 V, ad Notts lost three wickets for 126. The match was drawn. Cambridge v. Sussex: Cambridge lost six wickets foi 445 and declared (Davies 89, Winlaw 115 not out). Sussex replied with seven for 232 (Cook 73). The match was drawn. M.C.C. v. Surrey: M-C.C. in the first innings made 110, and in the second lost nine for 2jG 73 not out). Surrey made 384 in th first innings (Gregory 111, Darling 96). The match.was drawn. Oxford v. Yorkshire: Oxford in the first innings made 277 (Townsend 72 not out). The match was drawn.
'The wet wicket was unsuitable for Larwood, who was not bowled, apart from two overs on the first day.
