Meeting of Executive JUDGING APPOINTMENTS The Stratford Winter Show and Poultry Association executive met at the A. and P. Board rooms on Saturday night, when Mr. A. J. Davcy presided over the following members: Messrs W. Pettigrew, F. Kirkwood. R. D. Milne. W. Cannon. M. Gernhoefer, R. L. Ferris. R. Wellington. E. W. Jones and W. McAloon, who acted as secretary for the occasion, Mr. W. F. Ross being absent. Judging

A letter was received from Mr. W. Singleton (Director of the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture) stating that he would be pleased to arrange the judging of the butter and cheese sections at the forthcoming show, and that the matter would be left, in the hands of Mr. Robertson (Dairv Produce Grader in Charge, New Plymouth). The appointment of judge of the field and garden section was accepted by Mr. J. M. Smith (Department of Agriculture), who stated that he would b e assisted by Mr. C. A. Haynes of Hawera.

Mr. E. James (New Plymouth) also accepted the apnoimment of judge of the fanev poultry and bantam aestion, and Mr, A. C. Johnston, judge for the utility section (poultry). The accentances were received. Additional ChampionsMns

As the Wellington and Wanganui Associations are not holding their shows this year, the North Island Poultry and Canarv Show Federation ("Palmerston North) in a communication offered the Stra+ford Association the mule lieht and Yorkshire colour fed canary North Island championship certificates for competition at the show. —The offer was accepted. Wyandotte Section The New Zealand Wyandotte Hlub Show is to he held in coniunction with the Stratford 'Show, and a list of trophies of valuable shields and cups is to he included in the show schedule for competition among the club’s financial members. Best Bird in the Show Mr. McAloon pointed out that there was no award for the best bird in the show, and he considered that such an exhibit was worthy of an award. Mr. Jones said that prizes were given to the winners of each section, and he considered that was all that was necessary.
