WINS RACE WITH BROKEN LEG
o— Press Association —Copyright London, April 27. —The ihirteen-year-old luivdler Booinlel while running in a race at Worcester blundered at one fence and jumped the remaining two badly and finished on three legs. II had won, but collapsed with a broken hind log and was destroyed, almost amid the cheers which acclaimed its victory. A veterinary surgeon says that a horse, I like a human being, might be so keen i to win that it did not realise its pain.
