The I need for such an- organisation was i generally admitted, and it. was hoped j that the association would soon he able to provide young men who will Pave been trained for the purpose to attend all outdoor activities where accidents are liable to occur. The association had no funds, and it had been decided to make an appeal io jail sports bodies for a donation, j Members expressed - themselves in i favour of the organisation, staling that the branch would be an asset to the town and district.
