Wellington, April 19. —At the in* stance of the North Taranaki brand! the Dominion Executive of the Farmers’ Union to-day decided to ask Parliament to set up a committee tof make a full inquiry into the present monetary system.

Mr. H. 0. Meisopp, Auckland, said ha was convinced that a monetary system could be put into operation which would get New r Zealand out of its difficulties within six months.
