j Press Association. —Copyright, i London, April 19.—The Bank jof England bought £4.408.000 | worth cf gold from Australia, India and j South Africa to-day. It is the largest j purchase ever made in a single day. The I aggregate of purchases since January 1 i is £64,170,000.
