ADVISER TO CHINESE MINISTERS

Donald formerly of the staff of the Melbourne Argus, for 30 years in China and for a few years editor of the China Mail, has been appointed adviser to various Ministries of the Chinese Government. He arrived at Singapore to-day en route to Italy, accompanying Marshal Chang Hsuehliang, the Manchurian war lord, who is retiring owing to difficulties with the National Government.
