Billiards Player Married

Press Association —Copyright

London, April IS. —Walter Lindrum, the Australian billiards champion, who is playing in a tournament at Bristol, left for London at midnight, and was married in the Henrietta Street registry office at lunch time to Miss Alice Hoskin, a 27-year-old Victorian.

Mr. Clark McConachy (New Zealand) and Gertrude McConachy and two other friends were the only ones present. Lindrum will resume play in the tournament to-morrow, dispensing with a honeymoon. He hopes to spend the summer in England and to watch Larwood exploiting the leg theory. Though Lindrum has taught his bride to play billiards, she prefers swimming and tennis.
