London, April 17.—The father »f Lieutenant Baillie - Stewart, who was cashiered and sent to prison for five years on charges of betraying his country, has sent a letter to the Press protesting against the "savage, brutal sentence against a boy whose misfortune was to meol .inhuman creatures like Orst and Marie Louise."
He points out that his son only supplied them with publicly procurable ;;coks and photographs.
