J. B. Parker, S. G. Longuet and A. D. S. Duncan (Wellington Club), and W. K. Cook (Hutt Club) came through to the semi-finals. Parker will play Longuet and Duncan will meet Cook. One of the surprises to-day was the defeat of J. P. Hornabrook (Masterton) by W. K. Cook (Hutt) by 3 and 1.
