The comnuttce I also reported that there was a great Seal of work required in the grounds and that it could be done by the use of unemployed labour. The work mended was that of fencing, cleaning of creek, cutting willows and Mackberries.

The chairman stated that the tiling covering the roof of a verandah at the isolation ward was in a bad State of repair and he suggested that repairs be made. It was moved That the work be carried out immediately by a local contractor. Mr. Tlimn moved an amendment that tenders be called in view of the fact that the bulk of the work at the hospital had been given to the contractor mentioned.
