Country Athletes The Wharehuia Methodist Young Men's Bible Class "scooped the pool" at the district Bible class camp sports held at Inslewood yesterday. Over Easter a large number, were in camp and yesterday the annual snorts for the sports banner were held. The country boys showed a marked superiority over their town opponents and emerged the winners with a total of 58 points compared with 32 points gained by Inglewood, the runners-no. Unsatisfactory Rest House "The conditions at the Stratford rest house are not satisfactory.'' alleged the welfare officer. Mix E. Marsh, when reporting to the Stratford Hospital Board nt its monthly meeting today. Mrs. Marsh stated that use of the appointments at the house was being abused by "town drunkards" and a complaint had been made by a travelling unemployed man that the conditions were such that it was impossible to obtain rest. It was resolved on the motion of the chairman. Mr. W. L. Kennedy, that the matter of the conduct, of the rest, house be referred to Messrs. M. Ornhool'er and L. Bunn with the object of obtaining tin improvement.

Girls' Biblo Class Camp Over 40 Methodist girls' Bible class members attended the Easter camp held at the Stratford Technical High School. The camp concluded to-day, the campers leaving for their respective homes in various parts of the province. Visitors were entertained 111 novel manner during Saturday afternoon and afternoon tea was thoroughly enjoyed. On Saturday evening a camp fire gathering was held in the quarry on the banks of the Patea River, and proved an outstanding success. The time was spent in singing and individual items were also rendered. On Sunday morning the campers attended the Methodist Church service, where they rendered the popular "Camp Chorus" and a vesper, "Lo, Hear His Fellowship." Sister Maude Faweett (New Plvmouth) addressed the company at 'the school in the evening. The routine o'f Bible study, games and entertainments was continued yesterday.
