Departure for Bushire BRITISH AIRMAN ASTONISHED AT PROGRESS Prpss Association —Copyright Bagdad, April 13.—Miss Jean Batten, the Auckland ftirl who is flying' from England to Australia, arrived at Bagdad on Wednesday and departed for Bushire two hours later. No news of her has since been received. British airmen are astonished at the progress Miss Batten is making. One remarked: "If this is what she means by taking a quiet trip to Australia I wonder what she would do if she went all out."
