Chicago, April 13. —Mr. Edward J. Kelly, aged seventy-five, a . civil engineer and Democratic leader, has been elected Mayor of Chicago by the City Council. The Mayoralty was rendered vacant by the death of Mr. Anton Cermak from wounds inflicted at Miami by Guiseppe Zingara, who was executed.
