MR. McMILLAN AND COUNCILLORS
(To the Editor) Si;, —I have read with interest that Mr. McMillan has consented to stand for the position of Mayor at the forthcoming Municipal elections. I nole that he must have a “free hand.” I see also a “ticket" mentioned which will give him the freedom he stipulates for. Does this mean that the nominees of Mr. McMillan’s' party must agree to have no mind of their own and just do and say what they are told? This seems to me to be so unreasonable that I think 1 cannot have understood aright. Can you or any of your readers enlighten me. Thanking you.—l am, etc., ENQUIRER.
