THE SOCCER CODE

Revival in Stratford ENTHUSIASTIC CLUB FORMED The resuscitation of the Stratford Association Football Club took place last evening, when the annual meeting was held. The president, Mr. T. Smith, presided over an enthusiastic attendance of players. Mr. Smith explained that early last season the club had more or less drifted into a moribund state consequent on travelling and other difficulties, with the result that a team had not been fielded. Continuing, Mr. Smith said that there were a number of prospective players present who had never played the game, but at the same time were willing; to stick to the club and help it along during the coming season. The support had been readily flirthcomling, but It seemed dbubtful whether the club would be able to field two teams. However, the local enthusiasts, Messrs R. Trueman and D. A. Benjamin, had successfully revived the club, and it was hoped that the season would be equally successful. Election of Officers
