EARLY ELECTION EXPECTED IN IRELAND

London, Nov. 6. —The introduction of a Bill to amend the Land Act in the Irish Free State is interpreted to mean that Mr. de Valera will shortly appropriate the land annuities to finance agrictiltural schemes. Mr. Cosgrave's motion to grant farmers a two-year moratorium in connection with land annuities may embarras the Government, especially as the farmers are urging that if Mr. de Valera is not paying the annuities to Britain there is no need to pay him. The Bill is regarded as a portent of an election in the near future. Four by-elections are pending and tipsters say Mr. de Valera will lose three.
