HILL-CLIMBING CONTESTS
I THRILLS ON MOTOR-CYCLES The hill climbing contests arrang. ed by the Stratford Motor Sports Club were held yesterday on the Sole lvi>aii, Ngaere, under perfect weather conditions. The club members weaving their new red and tuacK berets made a very pleasing picture and the num. bt-r 01 people attending the contest snowed Hie amount ot interest taken I by the public ia the club's activities. j Cyclists from. Mew Plymouth and i Elliiam also competed. The spoils were ably controlled by Messrs J. Fentou and D, McPhuu and Mr ti. Vickers proved an (fclticient timekeeper aiul Uandieapper. Messrs 11.
