ANOTHER RUNAWAY VICTORY DEFEAT OF TOOWOOMBA Press Association. —Cowright. TOOWOOMBA, Wednesday. De. spite keen defence by Toowoomba, the New Zealand Rugby team today scored a victory by 30 points to six. The name was played at a great pace. Hart. Parry, Manchester and Caughey scored tries and Holder two, Corner converting three. Hart signalised his return by scoring the first try and showing good form. The Toowoomba tries were scored by Hayes and Wood as the result of excellent c-'inbiiiauon. Lilburne showed a return to form and frequently cut through the defence, opening the way for tries. Caughey was also brilliant;, lanes wa s sound but was evidently holding himself back for the test match. Soliomon was likewise. Metcalfe, Steere and Barry were the best of the forwards.
Feasted with the ball from the scrums and rucks the New Zealand backs threw the ball about with gay abandon, Corner and Lilburne playing with fine understanding, and it was a treat to watch tli3 Rugby provided. The test winger, Lindsay, played fullback and saved br ; Hiantly on several occasions. The spectators numbered 5,000 and the receipts were £2OO. Holder, was the only casualty, he suffering a torn ear, which was stitched. The teams were:
