UNEMPLOYED MAN’S ACT ADVICE RESENTED Press Association. —Copyright. NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday. An assault on the Rev. R. B. Gosnell was charged against Timothy Picaird Christian, a Norfolk Islander, to-day. He was sentenced to a month’s imprisonment. There.was an additional charge of being an idle and disorderly person. ■ Christian applied at the hospital office for charitable aid. Mr. Gosnell, a member of the board, advised him as a single man to go to the Labour Department, where he was drawn to enter an unemployed camp. Christian refused, used abusivb .language. struck Mr. Gosiiell 6n the jaw, then leaped through a window' and disappeared. He was later arrested.
