NOTES ON TO-DAY'S PROGRAMMES A programme to be presented by the Auckland Orphans' Club Orchestra, under the direction of Orphan Harold Baxter, and assisted by leading performers in the club, will be broadcast by IYA this evening. Vocal numbers will be given by Orphans James Simpson and Bernard Carter, and Orphan J. Finlayson will be heard in several humorous selections. A studio concert by the Wellington Artillery Band, under the conductorship of Captain T. Herd, V.D., will be broadcast by 2YA. Miss Grade Kerr and Mr. James Cooke will be heard in two humorous sketches. The singers will be Mr. S. Evelyn Rodger (baritone) and Mrs. Amy Dunn (soprano). During the International Programme from 3YA, Mr. A. C. Brassington, LL.B., will speak on "The Problem of Law and War." , Silent day at 4YA.
