(Reed. 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 24, “The Times” notes that there is a desire here and in Rome to await fuller information and explanations before taking a definite attitude regarding the Austro-German union. The newspaper adds the Governments concerned have brought ne.edless trouble on themselves by their secretiveness and clumsiness of procedure, and the situation created is one that in pre-war days might easily have become dangerous.
• As it is there is ample machinery for deciding whether the agreement conflicts with the treaty obligations.
