In fair but threatening weather, with a strong fishtail wind blowing in and out down the the series of matches for the championship rifle belt concluded at Trentham this morning. The Canterbury match, 10 rounds at (500 yards, was won by C. J. Nix. Featherstdn, with'the possible. With the completion of the Canterbury, all short-range matches for the belt have been fired. The Trentham aggregate, awarded for the highest aggregate scores in these short-range matches, was won by W. Mclver, Petone, with a score of 192 out of the possible 200. Nix was second with 190 and C. Pickering, Opaki, third with ISG.
