OIL FUEL POSSIBILITIES LONDON, March IC. Prospects of relieving the present depression in (lie coalfields were held out by Mr. George Hall, in a speech at Pontyprdd. Ho said the Admiralty tests carried out during- the past year proved the oil produced from coal gives (lie same results as fuel cil. Tire Admiralty had been offered a bulk supply at a price not far above the world price of oil. Instead of the nation spending £12,000,000 for the importation of oil, it could divert n large proportion of money to purchase oil produced from the British coalfields.
