Daring Murder
AN OUTRAGE AT HAMBURG ASSASSINS ON CROWDED BUS BERLIN, March 15. A daring political murdor occurred hi Hamburg to-day in a crowded bus proceeding homeward at midnight. The passengers included a Communist municipal councillor. Herr Henning. Suddenly throe men. supposed to be Nazis, jumped on the bus. drew revolvers and forced the passengers to put up their hands. They ordered Herr Henning to show his papers and declare his name. "You're the man we want," said the intruders, immediately emptying their revolvers into Herr Henning, who was killed instantly. A woman was wounded. The attackers jumped off, firing intermittently at pursuers, and escaped. (Reed. 2.45 p.m.). BERLIN, March IG. Henning's murderers declare they mistook him for the Communist leader Adre, and shot him in a fit of rage. Fellow-passengers deny this, asserting the affair was obviously prearranged.
