- THURSDAY'S BIG .ATTRACTION Thursday will mark an importer event in the Midhirst district, occasion being the annual spu i , meeting to be held at the facto. y reserve. . Dating back some 45 years, this meeting is one of the oldest and most attractive in the district, and draws crowds from ail parts of Taranaki. This year promises to eclipse all others from the point of view of th© excellence of the programme and the organisation. Record entries have been received for all events and there should be ample interest for all. The catering will be in thai hands of the local ladles. An innovation at the sports will be an exhibition of stunt-flying in a plane piloted by Mr, C. R. ~Parkera champion New Zealand cyclist.
