COMPOSER INSPIRED BY BABY PRINCESS
NEW SCORE TO BE PUBLISHED. Sir Edward Elgar, Master of the King's Music since 1924, has been inspired by the birth of little Princess Margaret Rose to write a "Nursery Suite" for the Orchestra. It consists of about seven short pieces with the (itles of old-fashioned nursery rhymes. It has not yet been performed, but the score will be published together with one or two small works by Sir Edward. The "Nursery Suite" has been dedicated to the Duchess of York, and the two little Princesses, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose. by froquent flashes of humour. The sp'rit of the war period is being called upon.
