UNEMPLOYED'S PAY DAY
STRATFORD RELIEF COMWITTEE The pay-out for the week at the Stratford Municipal, Office this morning was £273, which was paid to 131 men on work during the week. The Stratford County Council had 12 men at work and paid out £32 4s. The Whangamomona County Council paid £25 7s to 14 men. Since the first of the month, 24 have been taken on at Stratford under the 4A Scheme, which embodies the subsidy to farmers. Total unemployment registrations to date in Stratford are 384.
