WOOL, SHEEPSKIN AND HIDE SALE The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Stratford, report as under: The usual monthly sale of wool, sheepskins, hides, tallow, etc., was held on March 10, when the catalogue comprised equal to 11 bales of wool, 938 sheepskins, 300 hides, etc., eight tins of tallow, and a quantity of horsehair. The range of prices was as follows: Wool.—Crossbred fleece unskirted and unolassed, from 3d to 3:'|d a lb; ditto, lambs, from 2d to 21d a lb; ditto, locks and pieces, :Jd a 11); ditto, locks and pieces, washed, 2§d a lb; ditto, dead, 2:'{d a 11); Southdowns, 4}d to s:','d a lb. Sheepskins. Salted Crossbred lambs, sound, from 3d to 7d each; ditto, lambs, damaged, 3d each; ditto, pelts, bare, from 4d to 5d each; ditto, woolly pelts, sound, from 7d to lOd each; ditto, woolly pelts, damaged, 4d each; ditto, quarter-woolled biddi, sound, lOd each; ditto, short to quar-ter-woolled, sound, fkl each.

Sheepskins.—Dry, crossbred pelts, sound, fid each; ditto, woolly pelts, sound, 12d each; ditto, woolly pelts, damaged, 6d each; ditto, short to quarter-woolled, biddi, sound, 9d to lOd each; ditto, full-woolled, sound pelts, 3s Sd each: ditto, full-woolled, torn and damaged pelts, 2s 8d each; ditto, lamb pelts, from 3d to lOd each; ditto, lambs, sound, from Sd to Is Sd each.
