Eve of Execution
ROUSE'S LAST FAREWELLS WIFE'S VISIT INTERRUPTED LONDON, .March 9. There, was a remarkable incident, at Bedford Gaol on the eve of Albert Rouse's execution, when his wife's last visit was interrupted to enable him to say good-bye to Helen Campbell whom he bigamously married. Mrs Rouse said; "Arthur wanted me to be the last person to sec him. He was concerned about his son, who is Helen's child. He asked me to see that she had enough money to lake the boy to the country. PAID THE PENALTY ALBERT ROUSE EXECUTED. LONIDON, March 10. Albert Rouse, who war. under sentence of death for tin: murder of an unknown man whose remains wore found in his burnt motor-car, was executed at Bedford gaol.
