SYDNEY BOY'S ADVENTURE EFFORT TO GET TO ENGLAND SYDNEY, Feb. 26. Little Bobbie Ellis, of McMahon's Fbint, Sydney, left home on Wednesday ostensibly to go to school. He was found that night aboard the liner Oronles on the high seas. Bobbie, who is aged 12*, saw his aunt leave for England a fortnight ago, and has since been obsessed with the idea of making the trip himself. He told his mates at school that he was going abroad, and even mentioned the matter at home, but was not taken seriously. On Wednesday morning Bobbie left home at 8 o'clock to go to school, and when he had not. returned at the usual time his parents began making inquiries. Remembering what. Bobbie had been talking about, his father asked the Orient Company if they Knew anything of the lad, and a radio was sent to the Orontes, which had sailed at noon.
An early reply said that the boy was not aboard, but half an hour later came the news that he had been discovered, safe and sound. He had with him a little bag, containing two extra shirts, and a pair of trousers, which he had smuggled away from home. The young voyager has been sent back from Melbourne.
