FAMOUS PAGODA DAMAGED BY FIRE

The famous Shwedagon Pagoda in Rangoon was badly damaged by a lire which destroyed the Tazaungsor miniature places of worship, which are beautifully carved and contain golden images studded with precious stones. The, damage iq estimated at £15,000. .
