Railway v. Post Office. Owing to the increased postal charges the Railway Department is making hay at the expense of the post office. As soon as the new rates for the parcel post were announced, comparisons of the altered fates and the railway charges for similar services were made. Armed with this information and full details of what the railway can do, its officers male a canvass of business houses in Auckland.
