CALF-REARING.

DISTRICT JUDGING. Judging in the calf-rearing competitions under the auspices of the Boys' and Girls' Agricultural Clubs was continued in the Stratford District yesterday, the judges being Mr. W. McL'Dowic (condition), Mr. H. J. Marchant (dairy type) and Mr. R. Symo (charts). The judges complimented the children on the splendid type of calves brought forward, and urged them to look after the animals during the year and to bring them back for rejudging as The awards were:— Huiroa Jersey-Ayrshire Chart.
