PLUNKET SOCIETY.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The usual monthly meeting of the Stratford Plunket Society wa.s held at the residence of Mrs R. Masters, Seyton Street, on Thursday. There were present: Mesdames L. Curtis (chair), t'redrie, Schumacher, R. Masters,- Mark. G. Hall, I}. H. White, Power, Dyer, Marvin. Burton, Nowell, Shannon, Clemow, 'March ant, Orwin. Apologies wqvo. receivced from Mes. dames Sole, E Young Cuthbert.
The Plunket nurse reported as fey, lows for the month of November:— Children under five years nnder supervision, 265; babies under tw° years under supervision.. 261 ; nnm. ber of visits to homes. Stratford 50*Elth«im 30 .Midhirst 21 t(otal 108); number of visits to rooms, mothers 194, hnbiqs 187, children o", visitors 37 (total 4.70) ; now cases for month: Stratford 17, Eltham 10 '{total 27). 'Hie Plunket nurse is to be asked to take her annual holiday in Febmray next, subject to the approval of the Central Council.
Other business being concluded, Mrs R. Matsers gave a 'talk on "the A-ecent biennial conference, held at Wellington, and the various remits discussed thereat.
