Complimented.
At this morning's meeting of the Stratford County Council, Cr. Vickers took occasion to compliment the Engineer and his staff on the condition of the roads in the -western section of the North Riding. The partly worn-out roads, he said, were in excellent shape, considering the wet weather experienced. The chairman (Cr. Anderson) also said that the roads in ihe West Riding were never in better order. One could go over the whole of the tarred roads and not find a hole or crack.
