"I had a lousy trip," is how Kingsford Smiah described his first non-stop flight from Rangoon to Singapore in fourteen hours as he stepped from his plane at the naval base amid the cheers of airforce mechanics. He encountered heavy rain, headwinds and low clouds, for most of the way, and was compelled to fly ,bnly a, hundred feet from the ground at times. He hopes to reach Ausaralia on Sunday and will leave for Sourabaya at 5 to-morrow morning.
