CLERK ARRESTED ON STEAMER.
ALLEGED THEFT, i Press Association—Copyright. WELLINGTON, This Day. Vincent Cranfield Butcher (28), said by the police to he a clerk in the Magistrate's Court at Wellington, was arrested in a cabin aboard the steamer Ulimaroa just before sailing this morning.. The arrest wa s made ori 'a -warrant alleging that Butcher, 0n October 15, stole £ll3 16s, the property of the Government. On his appearance in Court tomorrow- he will be remanded to Wellington.
