Maria Rasputin, daughter of the notorious Russian, is now appearing in a circus at Bordeau, exhibiting a troupe of performing ponies. Though she stated that she is anxious to forget the past in circus life, Maria talked emotionally , of the days whe n she was the playmate of the Czar's daughters. She honours her father's name, and indignantly denies that he betrayed his country or acted under rtoreign influence. Maria's brother is at present exiled in Siberia, and her husband i s dead.
