A message from Valley Stream states Mr s Keith Miller, the British aviatrix, took off from Curtis Field for Los Angeles at 6.30 this morning in an effort to lower the woman's transcontinental re-< cord 1 recently established by Miss Laura Ingalls. She has planned to make her first stop a t Indianapolis with an overnight stop at Wichita (Kansas). Mrs Millar i s flying a low wing monoplane.
