TRAIN WRECKED.
GELIGNITE FOUND ON HAIL. (Received 9.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. What the police think was an attempt to blow up a tram occurred at Manly. When a tram made contact with three huge chunks of gelignite. The whole district was disturbed by a deafening explosion. Passengers were thrown into a state of panic and the tram was badly damaged, but no one was injured.
