Imperial Conference
WILL IT BE IN CAMERA. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 3. There is much conjecture whether the Labour Cabinet will follow the precedent of the Naval and Egyptlan Conferences and hold a number at public sessions of the Imperial Conference, but Government circles are disponed; to think that the con-, terence will be held wholly in cam-, era, with periodic issues of communiques. ' It is admitted that new circumstances exist owing to the Labour Government's being in power here and in Australia and also that the whole of the personnel of the conference will probably bej men with the exception of General Hertzog (South Africa). But for the fact that many ticklish problems are awaiting settlement, specially in economic and constitutional realms, induces well informed, persons to predict that the the tefeiness will be thrashed ou£. »a> the committee room.'
