"Harrowing was carried out as lirn e and opportunity served," said Mr J. M. Smith on Saturday, in reviewing tile past year's operations at the Stratford Demonstration Farm. "There is no doubt that more harrowing should he done, hut as regards this phase of pasture management we are mor e or less fci the dark as to what constitutes the ideal amount of harrowing. It is hoped that during the coming season we will he able to carry out some very definite experimental work with regard to the amount of harrowing, etc, and, if possible, with the different types of harrows,"
