Tlie game was played under tho auspices of the primaly Schools Rugby Union. For Stratford tries were scored by Gray (2), Tubby (.1), Aimstrong (d) ; R. Aitken, Davies and Richards. Richards also potted u goal and converted one try. R. Aitken converted three tries. Okaiawa were quite out-classed, both back and forward. The S matford team played an exceptionally good game, the forwards showing plenty of dash. The outstanding forwards were E. and R. Aitken and Lilley, while Rutherford played a steady game. The most outstand ng back was Tubby. The opposition seemed to he unable to stem him, and lie broke through several times. Davies and Armstrong also played well. Th e cup, which was donated by Air Linkhorn, of Manaia, was won in the first year by Hawora. Stratford won it the next two years and last year it was won by Okaiawa.
