MAN HURT WHILE HUNTING.
WAIPUKURAU, This Day. A serious accident befell'Mr Alfred William Parsons, o£ Waipukurau, when hunting with the Hawke’s Bay Club at Tikokiuo. Mr Parsons was riding the champion horse Comet and when taking a double fence, the hor Se took off too soon lauding on the top of tho fence, then falling heavily on Mr parsons. The latter was thrown sustaining fractured ribs, concussion, and severe shock. The horse was badly injured and its destruction may be necessary.
