This year the Taranaki Primarp Schools Rugby Enion has been successful in inaugurating an annual tournament between representative school teams from Hutt Valley, Rangitikei, Horowhenua and Taranaki. The first of these annual fixtures is to take place in the Hull Valley during the August holidays. he following twenty boys have been selected by the sole selector, Mr C. Drader, to represent Taranaki: — Backs: Mac Dowell (Moturoa), Robinson (Opunake), Tubby (Stratford), Grey (Hawera Convent), Cropp (Hawera Convent), Crone (Fitzroy), Main (West End), Wanu (Manaia), Sullivan (Stratford Convent), Rang! Tito (Opunake i. Forwards; Milham (Westown), Richards , Eilley, Aitkeu (Stratford), Butler (Okaiawa), Penton (Waitara), Eagar (Stratford Convent), Koefed (Ngaere), Tattersall (Kaponga), Topless (Waitara), Messrs L. J. Far me and V. J. Henderson will accompany the team. Th e pa f ty will leave by the mail train on the morning of Friday, August 22nd, returning to Taranaki c«:i Thursday, August 2Sth. During their stay in the Hutt Valley the boys will be billetted with the local people and a pleasant and instructive programme has been planned for their entertainment. Each team will play three matches, the days of play being the Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.
