THE COAL MINES BILL
RUGBY, July 23. After some discussion the House of Lords, this afternoon, agreed to a slight alteration which the House of Commons had made in the Lords Amendment to the Coal Mines’ Bill. A compromise was effected between the two Houses regarding the spread over of hours and will thus be incorporated in the measure for Royal assent.
